More May Happenings

Emma painting toenails
Miriam's painted toes
Emma got nail polish for her birthday, so we had to paint nails with it.

Mother's Day was very nice. All my children made me something. :)

The baby robins kept growing and after a week, they had their eyes open. The last picture on this post was taken about a week ago.

Since then, they have left the nest. We are glad they have grown up because the robins were very protective of their nest. The nest was near our back door, we got swooped at a few times. Once they were gone, we moved the nest, so they wouldn't come back. It was fun while it lasted.

Emma learning about telescopes

We attended the BYU Astrofest this year. We learned about acoustics and how loud exploding gases can be. We made paper and foam rockets and had them launched high in the air.

We saw a planetarium show and looked through telescopes. We also got to see the sun through a telescope. We could even see sunspots. They also gave us special glasses to watch the eclipse the next day. We had a great time together.

We need a picture with Mom in it, too.
