Recent Outdoor Activities

We recently hiked up to the Y as a family to fulfill a Cub Scout requirement for Joseph. (For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, there is a "Y" on one of the mountains near BYU and a trail leading up to it.) We ended up going on one of the hottest days so far this spring, but we did it in the morning, so it wasn't too hot. We had a good time together. We hiked to the base of the Y and I took pictures of the view, which I think is one of the best parts of the hike because you can see a lot of Utah Valley. It's also fun to see landmarks from that perspective, so I'll post all my panorama shots.

You can see the Provo Temple through the shrubs and the Mt. Timpanogos Temple if you look far enough north in real life.

We all made it!

Resting on the way down

We've had a robin build a nest in our backyard and it sits there a lot lately. We are looking forward to seeing what happens.

We also got a new trampoline after the straps on our old one broke. It will hopefully get the kids (and me) outside more this year.
