Our Pinewood Derby was earlier this month. This is Joseph's car. It is modeled after a monster from a comic book series that he created. His car did well. It placed 1st for the Bears and 5th overall, if we remember right. I wasn't able to go because Miriam was sick, but I was glad that they had a good time.
It was warm enough to jump and get wet. Neil bought a sprinkler to spray over the trampoline and he and the kids had fun jumping and getting each other wet.
Neil is working hard to make the yard nice. It's fun to see growing things all over. We're excited to have more apples this year and we may get a few cherries.
Yesterday, we discovered that the robins nesting in our backyard have three babies. Hooray for spring!
