We went to Neil's parents' house on the 3rd of July to play, eat dinner, and watch the fireworks up at the golf course near their home. Here are some pictures from that day. We celebrated Josh's birthday since Neil's parents would be out of town for his actual birthday. The kids played in the pool in the back yard and we had a BBQ.

Most of us walked up to the golf course as the sun was setting, so I had to try my new camera and see if I could get some good sunset shots.

It was a great show, though some of the fireworks were a little low and you could see the little fires that started and were put out soon after. Everyone did well watching the fireworks. Miriam was a little concerned, but was okay. Sarah sat on Grandpa's lap with her hands over her ears, but she didn't get scared either. It was a nice night.
