Primary Pioneer Day Activity

Yes, I am falling behind in my posts. These are pictures from our ward's Primary Pioneer Day Activity on July 23, 2008. We went to the Pioneer Village in Provo, which is on 500 West just a few blocks south of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. They had a old bell that they could ring. (I can't remember if it's a school bell or a fire bell.) Emma, Joseph, and Sarah all had a chance to ring it. We had a good time and it was a nice way to remember the pioneers.

Sarah teaching in the old school house
Neil playing the guitar so the children could sing pioneer songs

Joseph and the well
Joseph trying the stilts
Sarah digging in the dirt waiting for the big kids to be done with their tour
Joseph is working the replica of the well.
Sarah needed to keep busy, so here she is climbing the rails of the fence.

Joseph and Sarah listening
Joseph playing horseshoes
