Silverwood

One of the fun things we got to do while we were visiting family in Washington was go with all the cousins to Silverwood, billed as the largest theme park in the Northwest. We had a great time. I got some pictures and video of the first part of our visit, but I didn't charge the battery on my camera that morning, so it didn't have enough power for the whole day.

We rode some rides, including the ferris wheel. After the ferris wheel, Emma and I met up with some others and rode the train that toured the park. I think it had a steam engine. In the middle of the ride, we were stopped and held up by some train robbers that used the donations for charity. We were sitting in the front of the car and Sarah worried that she might fall. The train was also loud for her, so I spent most of the ride holding her and covering her ears.

We stayed the whole day and had a great time. Emma, Joseph, and I got wet riding the rapids in a big inner tube with chairs. We all got to ride the little roller coaster and Emma, Joseph, and Sarah had a lot of fun playing in a big tree house. Emily and I got to ride the Paratrooper together and that was fun, too. It was a long day. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking us all. Thanks to Grandma for watching Sarah and Miriam most of the time. Thanks to Grandpa for being Joseph's buddy.

Emma and I got to go next. We just missed getting seat #12.

The red barn is the entrance to the log ride. Emma, Joseph, and I rode this later in the day. The funny story that goes with this ride is that near the end of the ride, people can pay to get the riders extra wet by paying money to spray the riders as they go past. My dad got me pretty wet.
