| Driving into Montana |
While we were in Washington, Neil's grandpa passed away. His health had
been declining for a long while and he missed his wife who had died in
2009. Neil and I decided that we should attend his funeral in Utah, so
we left our children with my family in Washington and drove to Utah. We drove all day Friday, got home about 11 pm, went to the funeral in Salt Lake on Saturday morning and spent the rest of the day with Neil's brothers and sister and their families.
We are so grateful for the knowledge that there is life after death. We know that because Grandpa and Grandma made covenants with each other and God in the temple and they were sealed together for time and all eternity by the power of the priesthood of God, their reunion on the other side must have been a very happy one. We were very grateful for the opportunity to go to Grandpa's funeral.
