The next day, we went to a park with my parents and had a picnic for one of Joseph's Cub Scout requirements. It was a nice day, though a little cold. Glad we had decent weather for it.

Birthday Chocolate and a Take-Out Picnic
We celebrated Neil's birthday with cards, comics, and chocolate. Neil's cake was a chocolate cake baked with chocolate chips. It was covered with chocolate frosting, Whoppers, and shaved dark chocolate. :) He received cards from his parents and Emma and the first two comic books from a series we follow online about a school for children with superpowers. It can be found starting read here.
